Bio

STEPHANIE SETMIRE

I found out I had dyslexia when I was five.  I have received help for my dyslexia since I was in second grade.  I attended Community College and then transferred to the University of La Verne where I received my B.S. in Child Development.  I am passionate about helping people with dyslexia.  Three years ago, I started a Support Group in Huntington Beach for parents who have children with dyslexia.  I also started a second one in Tustin.  The reason I am so excited to lead the Adult Support Group is that I attended a similar session during one of the IDA conferences.  It was life changing for me!  I wish to give back because I learned so much.  I’m looking forward to seeing you.
